The Sum Of Its Parts
New York based artist Kevin Champeny explores polarizing issues in modern-day America including: politics, mental health, gun violence, beauty, social media and drugs. Champeny reinvents the traditional mosaic with his sculpted, cast and hand placed pieces creating an interactive platform. Champeny’s works beckon the viewing from both near and far, the juxtaposition revealing different and often incongruous optical insight.
